These pictures make me realize how fast our little Addie is growing! She has such a fun personality and is a little sponge right now. She is getting very close to being potty trained...WOOHOO! She says the sweetest prayers which are sometimes a bit funny (example: "Dear Jesus: Thank you for my Mommy and my Daddy...and thank you for my iPad. Thank you for my life, and thank you for my baby sister. Aaaaaaamen!"). Thank you for my iPad?! Haha! Oh dear! Another tech junkie in this house! She is quite the priss like her mommy...loves to wear bracelets, necklaces, and has asked numerous times for earrings. She likes to snuggle at bedtime and when she first wakes up. She LOVES to read books and LOVES to play Mommy to all her baby dolls. She also LOVES to "cook" us all kinds of goodies in her play kitchen. We LOVE you, Adelynn Mae Dewey. Please slow down ... I know you are about to be the BIG sister ... but you are still our LITTLE girl. Love you!

This post is a couple weeks late but we found out on Aug 26 that we are having another precious baby girl! She looks healthy and we got some really great ultrasound pictures! Her heart rate was 159 and she was SO ACTIVE! The ultrasound tech had to chase her all around to get the measurements she needed. Her estimated weight is 12 ounces.

Addie is excited! She has said she was having a sister all along...I can already feel the special connection they will share. I never had a sister but I think sisters-in-law are great. Addie is so lucky to get to have a sister! We are excited and thankful about this healthy baby girl on the way!

My best friend from college, Donna Martin, got married on July 30! Addie was the flower girl and, though I may be partial, she was the sweetest flower girl ever. She had so much fun getting all dressed up and she just adores Donna! We had so much fun and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Here are some pictures:

Well, I've been bad about keeping this updated. 4 weeks ago, I went for my 12 week appointment and baby's heart rate was 162. On Thursday, I went for my 16 week appointment and baby's heart rate was 140. The baby was ACTIVE. Dr. Shultz had to chase him/her to keep the heart rate long enough to count it. I have been feeling baby move at least twice a day. I'm still in my regular clothes but they are getting tight. *sigh*
